Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Council advises local governmental agencies, including the Planning Commission, the Parks and Recreation Commission, Council, and the Mayor on matters dealing with environmental impact statements and with protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of natural resources, including air, land and water resources, located within the municipality.

The Franklin Township Municipal Sanitary Authority was established in December 1967 as a Municipal Authority by the Board of Supervisors of Franklin Township.

The Zoning Hearing Board is a three-person panel that is appointed by the Municipal Council to hear appeals from property owners for relief from the Municipal Zoning Ordinance.
